Dentsu One China appoints Yuichi Toyoda as CEO

Dentsu Aegis Network China has appointed Yuichi Toyoda as the new CEO for Dentsu One China. In his new role, Toyoda will lead the team to drive integrated and strategic solutions, with a goal of securing maximum marketing and business value for clients across all the company’s offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Wuhan.Prior to assuming this new position, Toyoda was President and CEO at Dentsu One Thailand. The company stated that he grew the business significantly, achieving record commercial and creative success.“Yuichi Toyoda has a proven track record as a highly influential leader with sharp business acumen. His experience and passion for delivering ‘Innovative Business Solutions Beyond Advertising’ is inspirational for both his team and clients,” said Michelle Lau, CEO Dentsu Aegis Network China.She added, “I look forward to seeing a new chapter of success as he leads more clients in Dentsu One China to achieve their growth plans.”Toyoda joined Dentsu Inc. back in 1994, starting off as media planner and buyer, then elevated to hold senior management roles in Japan and Dentsu One India. With 25 years of total advertising experience in Japan, India and Thailand markets, Toyoda’s profession spans across media planning, communication design, branding and business design for numerous clients including Honda, Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Suntory, Unicharm, Toshiba, Seven-Eleven and Novartis.Toyoda commented, “I’m very excited to come to China, one of the most advanced and definitely the fastest moving market.
