DBS' final round of media pitch

DBS is said to have narrowed down its list of media agencies to MEC and Performics, Marketing understands.DBS declined to comment on the development.The bank called for a pitch in early October with MediaCom, MEC and Performics making it through the shortlist. Havas Media is the incumbent on the account.  The media pitch covers both the DBS and POSB brands and is managed by marketing consultant TrinityP3.Most recently, the bank appointed Pearlyn Phau as deputy group head of consumer banking & wealth management. Her role starts effective 1 January 2016.DBS Bank currently has a presence in markets such as Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, India and Taiwan.
