Cohn & Wolfe's APAC president exits

Angelina Ong has tendered her resignation as president of Cohn & Wolfe Asia Pacific.She was appointed in March 2015 and will be on gardening leave until January 2016 before officially stepping down.Ong confirmed the news to Marketing saying she resigned to take on a new opportunity.She said 2015 has been a "great year" for Cohn & Wolfe in Asia and she was glad to have had the opportunity to the business.Ong reports to Donna Imperato, chief executive officer, Cohn & Wolfe Group.She was in charge of overseeing all Asia Pacific offices for the agency, working closely with market leaders to build growth in the region.Ong has over 18 years of public relations experience, building brands for companies like Coca Cola, P&G, Philips, British Airways and Wrigley.Prior to her role at Cohn & Wolfe, Ong was regional managing director at Burson-Marsteller where she helped shape the agency’s APAC brand marketing offering.Cohn & Wolfe told Marketing it is currently conducting a search for a new regional lead for Asia.
