Reporting to Angelina Ong, who has been named president for Asia-Pacific earlier this year, Pong will lead day-to-day business, focusing on business growth, client oversight and team development. She will also help build client partnerships across China, working with the agency’s teams in Shanghai and Beijing, as well as internationally. With 20 years of public relations experience, Pong has worked with notable brands such as Microsoft, Sony, LinkedIn, Canon, eBay, IBM, Lenovo and Philips. Prior to joining Cohn & Wolfe, Pong was deputy general manager at Waggener Edstrom Hong Kong, where she collaborated on establishing new business strategy and talent management. Previously, she held leadership positions at Edelman and PR People Consultancy. “As a strong, experienced leader who has counseled dozens of high profile companies, particularly in Consumer and Technology, Diana will help grow new practices and offerings to meet client demands," said Ong. The Hong Kong office has also brought on Winky Moon, who joins the leadership team as director of technology practice. She will report to Pong and oversee key clients, new business and employee development. Moon started her career on the client side working for brands such as COACH, Saudi Aramco and Japan Tobacco. On the agency side, she has worked with many well-known brands such as Chevron, HSBC, Coca-Cola, VMware and Fuji Xerox (Hong Kong). Moon also joins Cohn & Wolfe from Waggener Edstrom, where she was Head of Technology and Corporate Practices. Moon has a Graduate Diploma in Law and a Masters of Business Administration.
