Cohn & Wolfe appoints Matt Stafford as APAC president

Cohn and Wolfe has appointed Matt Stafford as its new president for Asia Pacific. Stafford will be based in Hong Kong, starting his new role mid-August.

His new role requires him to oversee the agency’s 12 Asia-Pacific offices with the aim to increase collaboration and further the agency’s expansion in the region. Stafford will be playing a key role in building new business, client service and talent development and retention.

Stafford has over 15 years of communication experience in Asia. Prior to Cohn & Wolfe, Stafford was the CEO of Burson-Marsteller’s China and Hong Kong markets. During this time, Stafford oversaw a significant business transformation to high revenues and profitability.

Donna Imperator, CEO of Cohn & Wolfe Group said, “We’ve been highly selective in our search for our new Asia-Pacific president, and I’m confident Stafford is the right person to elevate our business in the region.”

“Cohn and Wolfe is a growth engine right now. What a success story…. I can’t wait to join Imperator and her team during such an exciting time in Cohn and Wolfe’s evolution into an integrated communications powerhouse,” said Stafford.
