Clear Channel pushes content to commuters

Clear Channel Singapore has partnered JobStreet.com, Juice Media, Magazines Integrated, and SPH Digital to bring content from their respective web and mobile sites to commuters. The content will be made available via a redirection on Connect, a OOH mobile interactive advertising platform.Consumers can now access this variety of content on smart phones by tapping or scanning the interactive tags found on 3,800 of Clear Channel's signature six-sheet advertising panels and 30 digital advertising panels in the city. A monthly giveaway contest will also be held to reward consumers who frequently interact with these advertising panels. This partnership is part of Clear Channel's effort to raise awareness of the interactive tags that have appeared at bus and taxi shelters island-wide. These tags use NFC and QR technology to provide interactive content, including videos, e-vouchers, news, real-time updates and games, giving advertisers the opportunity to deepen their engagement with consumers.Kelly Khoo, CEO, Clear Channel Singapore, said:  “We have made this investment (in Connect) because of consumer want and need, to be able to engage with brands individually, immediately and effectively. We bridge the online and offline worlds by combining our outstanding audience reach with personal engagement through increasingly sophisticated, geo-optimised, and socially-charged mobile devices."She added that connect provides what OOH"already does very well, which is, context, and now, it delivers content." It enables advertisers to continually follow the journey of the consumer and trigger content that is completely appropriate for the individual at that moment in time.
