Malaysia – BBDO Asia, a member of the Omnicom Group, announced the appointment of Tan Chee Keong (pictured) as the new executive creative director for BBDO Malaysia.
Tan’s appointment to the newly created role comes on the back of the agency’s plans to strengthen the senior management team of BBDO Malaysia and expand the agency’s creative portfolio.
He joins fromÂ Ogilvy & Mather MalaysiaÂ where he was most recently theÂ deputy executive creative director and has also worked with other agencies including Leo Burnett Malaysia and Ogilvy Hong Kong.
Some of the brands Tan has done work on include Malaysia Airlines (Worldwide), Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts (Worldwide), Prudential (Asia-Pacific Region), Unilever (Dove/Pond’s), Maxis, Pizza Hut, GSK (Panadol/Eno/Oxy/Dequalin), Nestle (Maggi Instant Noodles/Milo), BMW, Bernas, Motorola, Guinness and Nike.
