CIMB asks consumers to ‘Save and Invest’

Following the success of the “Dream. Deposit. Drive.” campaign in 2007 and the “Dream Deposit” campaign in 2006, CIMB Bank and CIMB Islamic have launched the “Save and Invest” marketing campaign created by DraftFCB.

The campaign that will run for the next five months invites both new and existing customers to qualify for a contest by adding RM100 into his/her deposit account.

Accordingly, every RM100 invested in unit trusts and structured products constitutes one entry and each housing loan, share margin financing or personal loan, approved during the five-month period, represents 50 entries per month.

One winner each month will receive RM500 per month over 15 years for phone, electricity bills, holidays, groceries or petrol. Meanwhile, the grand prize winner will walk away with a fixed deposit annuity of RM2,000 a month for 15 years, or RM360,000 in total.

“This contest not only encourages customers to save and invest during these challenging times, it also rewards them with prizes to help manage today’s rising costs of living. The more a customer saves and invests, the higher his or her chances of winning,” said Peter England, head of Retail Banking, CIMB Bank, said.
