ChurpOut uniting social media lovers

Malaysia has seen yet another invasion of social media loving enthusiasts.

Gathered at Outdoor Park in Setia City Mall, ChurpChurp has organised its second ChurpOut street festival, aimed at bringing together Malaysians and rewarding them for sharing the latest happening, trends and brands with friends via social networking platforms.

Timothy Tiah, co-founder of ChurpChurp, said that he was so happy to see so many people coming for ChurpOut 2013 and having a good time despite the rain.

“There are over 2,000 and counting pictures of the event on Instagram, and we managed to get the hashtag #ChurpOut2013 trending within the first hour of the event itself.”

The festival also saw lines of festival goers queue for the towering reverse bungee, one of the highlights of the event.

Partial proceeds for the event went to select charities: R.AGE, MAKNA, SPCA and WorldVision.

ChurpOut 2013 was promoted on all Nom Nom Media, the exclusive digital reseller for Nuffnang.com, platforms including its bloggers and celebrities.
