Christina Chu takes on MD role at Carat Beijing

Carat has promoted Christina Chu as managing director for Carat Beijing, reporting to CEO, Adil Zaim.Since joining the agency in 2013 as general manager, Chu has delivered great results on expanding relationships with existing clients as well as leading new business wins.With experience across leading international and local clients including Unilever, P&G, IBM and Yili, Chu has significant expertise across strategic planning combined with a commercial focus on the value that media can deliver to clients business.Prior to joining Carat, she held senior management positions in Mindshare, Greater China.Adil Zaim, CEO for Carat China commented: “Christina has been an inspirational leader for the team in Beijing and we are delighted to recognise her contribution to the success of the business,”“She has an exceptional understanding of the challenges faced by clients in a convergent media landscape and how to structure our services to meet those needs.”Chu said: “I’m very proud to be part of the leadership team for Carat China, we have a great range of talent and I’m looking forward to taking the business to even more success.”
