Sushant Panda has resigned from his position as CEO & managing partner at Havas Worldwide India and is currently serving his notice period through to 31 March to assist in a smooth transition.
The agency will now be managed by its management committee, comprising of Satbir Singh, chief creative officer and managing partner, Shavon Barua, president, South and West, Sandeep Gupta, chief financial officer, and Sourav Ray, chief strategy officer, under the guidance and leadership of Anish Gupta who has been appointed chairman (non executive).
In 2014, the management committee will implement an expansion strategy with a particular emphasis on digital and healthcare, it said.
Juan Rocamora, chairman, Havas WW Asia Pacific says: “We thank Sushant for his contribution in leading Havas over the last three years of his seven-year tenure and I understand his desire to build his career outside of Havas going foward. We wish him all the best.”
Earlier last year, Havas WW saw its Southeast Asia lead Naomi Troni leave the role for a global position back in the US.
