Media solutions provider Spafax has appointed Jean-Marc Thomas as managing director, Asia. He was most recently head of digital, APAC at Carat Singapore.
Based in Singapore, Thomas will oversee the teams in both Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. He will also be responsible for driving Spafax’s digital media strategies and growing new business in the region.
Thomas brings with him more than 18 years of experience in performance marketing, digital strategy and analytics across multiple markets. During his time at Carat Singapore, Thomas was responsible for providing digital input on new business pitches and developing and overseeing the execution of digital capability training. This includes driving the digital strategy for major clients such as Lego, Mondelez, Adidas, Diageo, Mastercard, Peninsula, Standard Chartered, and more.
He also worked with the Dentsu Aegis Network team to foster strong relationships with GMPs, including technology partners such as Facebook, Google, DoubleClick, Integral Ad Science, Spotify, and MOAT, to name a few. Prior to Carat, Thomas was a regional business director at iProspect, where he contributed to win multiple accounts across APAC and secured business for leading brand accounts including the L’Oréal group, Starwood Hotels and Louis Vuitton in China for instance, the statement read.

Dentsu Aegis Network declined to comment on Thomas’ replacement when contacted by Marketing.
