Calvin Klein has quietly unveiled a new logo via Instagram, designed by its in-house creative team and English art director and graphic designer Peter Saville.
“Introducing the new Calvin Klein logo,” reads the caption that runs alongside the simple font. “A return to the spirit of the original. An acknowledgement of the founder and foundations of the fashion house. In collaboration with the art director and graphic designer Peter Saville.”
Calvin Klein’s in-house creative team, headed up by chief creative officer Raf Simons, worked on the new logo, collaborating with Saville.
It aims to pay homage to the self-named company’s founder, who launched the US company in 1968, and to the “foundations of the fashion house”, says the company.
