Buumerang new brand agency in town

KJ Tham (pictured), former managing consultant at Bizsphere Retail Branding, has left the agency to start up boutique-style integrated brand management company Buumerangbrandz (Buumerang).

Established in October 2012, the agency boasts a team of brand marketers from various industries spanning both local and international MNC companies.

“We do not see ourselves as a creative design agency, event management agency, or PR agency. Our role to our clients can be seen as outsourced brand managers looking at the brand from an external perspective,” said Tham, founder and managing consultant of Buumerangbrandz.

The key activation team consists of senior brand manager Phoebe Tan, assistant brand manager Rachel Khoo and public and media relations consultant Elvina Jo Pelly.

“Our strength comes from our team’s varied experience with both agency and client,” added Tham, who has more than 15 years of experience having worked with major FMCG  brands such as Johnson & Johnson, Colgate-Palmolive and Fonterra.

Buumerang’s key clients include P&G, myChef, Digital Mall, Spritzer+Fibre, Zest and Heinz.

The agency is also looking to expand its team due to its upcoming project line-ups.
