Burberry hunts for Asia head of digital

Following a restructure of its digital marketing team, Burberry is on the hunt for a director of digital marketing for its regional business.

The role will spearhead the company’s social media platforms in China and across Asia, developing local partnerships and driving campaigns across its existing global social media platforms.

Additionally, the director will be tasked to develop global brand and commerce driven digital marketing strategy, take charge of its mobile strategy and lead its direct marketing channels.

In Hong Kong and China, the global fashion group maintains a hugely active social media presence on Sina Weibo, Jiepang, a branded page on Vogue China in addition to branded channels on Youku and Chinese social networking site Douban.

Globally, Burberry has more than 16.6 million Facebook fans and 1.1 million followers on Instagram.
