Bukalapak bolsters payment offering through DANA partnership

Bukalapak has launched Buka DANA, in collaboration with digital wallet DANA, to extend its services to all users across Indonesia and ensure transactions are faster and safer.The move also looks to add more payment options for four million SMEs involved with Bukalapak, Fajrin Rasyid (pictured left), co-founder and president of Bukalapak, said. He added that the presence of Buka DANA will add more payment options in terms of transaction convenience and safety.Fajrin Rasyid added that the platform also looks to strengthen consumer trust in Bukalapak's reliability as an online shopping platform. "We continue to innovate to support SMEs going to the next level and strive not only to provide added value but also seek to provide solution to our users," he said.Chrisma Albandjar (pictured right), chief communication officer of DANA, said that the existence of DANA as a digital payment tool in Bukalapak, is one of DANA’s strategic steps to introduce a cashless transaction culture in digital era, and ensure the security and convenience as a payment method.“Bukalapak customers or DANA users can do a transaction at Bukalapak without leaving the application. Their DANA accounts remain integrated even though they use cross platforms. This advantage makes people’s transactions using Buka DANA become easier and more convenient,” Albandjar said.Albandjar added that as a digital wallet, DANA does not only support the convenience and security of transactions for DANA users on various platforms or applications, but also supports business for entrepreneurs, both large business and MSMEs (micro, small and medium enterprises).Read also: Bukalapak names new president
