Breitling opens new retro look store at HKIA

Swiss luxury watchmaker Breitling has opened a new store at Hong Kong International Airport.

Located at the departure level of Terminal 1 East Hall, the design of the store is inspired by mid-twentieth-century industrial buildings. Modern-retro elements have been incorporated, such as a neon Breitling logo in a 1940’s-50’s style,  a yellow mesh wall with a stylised “B” vintage logo, and bespoke furniture.

The store hopes to offer customers an inviting yet inclusive ambience, allowing them to explore watches in a relaxed atmosphere. At the doorway, customers are welcomed by an entrance bar showcasing a wide variety of watches.

“We specially opened our new boutique at Hong Kong International Airport as it not only represents Breitling’s century-old association with aviation, but we also hope to share our brand history and DNA with travelers all over the world,” said Georges Kern, CEO of Breitling.

To celebrate the opening, the brand’s new Aviator 8 Mosquito watch will be exclusively available at the new location.
