BMW has launched a media buying and planning pitch in the Malaysia market. Currently BMW Malaysia works with Carat as its media agency in the market.
Sashi Ambi, head corporate communications at BMW Malaysia confirmed the news to A+M adding that the brand is currently in the midst of speaking to several agencies. He explained that this is a standard practice for the brand and such reviews are conducted every three to five years. He declined to comment on the account size and contract period.
Most recently, BMW Malaysia has appointed Next Digital KL as its customer relationship management (CRM) agency for the year 2015 and 2016. Next Digital is responsible for supporting BMW Malaysia’s CRM needs including BMW’s White Card Programme which offers exclusive privileges specifically tailored for BMW owners in the country.
