BlisMedia bolsters Asia team

Advertising technology company BlisMedia has appointed Regina Goh as managing director of Asia.

Goh’s appointment reflects the company’s Asia focused growth strategy for the year and its expansion plans into markets such as Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia and Hong Kong in 2015. Goh will oversee BlisMedia’s entire Asian operations, and will focus on managing the company’s expansion, as well as propelling the sales and operations teams towards continuous growth in Southeast Asian markets.

Goh is based out of BlisMedia’s Southeast Asia headquarters in Singapore and reports to Harry Dewhirst, president and chief commercial officer of BlisMedia.

Prior to BlisMedia, Goh led Millennial Media’s Asia Pacific sales division, bolstered by her 14 years of experience in the mobile and digital consumer business. She has held senior management positions in global digital and advertising companies across sales, brand advertising, product management and business development.

“BlisMedia’s data-driven insights, coupled with the firm’s cross-platform, multi-screen offerings, places the company among the top innovative players in the region,” said Goh.

Goh’s appointment follows several recent BlisMedia executive hires. In 2014, Nick Ballard was appointed as managing director, Australia and New Zealand, to manage the firm’s growing operations in the region. Adam Johnston also joined the firm as chief technology officer to spearhead global product innovation and upscale data projects and partnerships.

Dewhirst said: “Goh has been instrumental in the success of several adtech companies, and her knowledge of the Asia Pacific media market will be pivotal to BlisMedia’s regional growth.”

He added that BlisMedia has signed up several major clients and partners in the region, and strengthened its presence in several Asian markets last year. Currently, BlisMedia works with clients such as HSBC, Google, Marina Bay Sands, Standard Chartered Bank, Intercontinental Hotel Group, SAP, Oracle, Intel, Burberry, Qantas and others.
