Asset management firm BlackRock has appointed Rowena Kwok as director and head of corporate communications for Asia, excluding Japan.
Kwok has more than 17 years in corporate communications and joins the firm from Fidelity Worldwide Investment where she spent six years working in corporate communications in Hong Kong.
In her new role, her remit will cover all of Asia excluding Japan.
Mark McCombe (pictured), BlackRock’s chairman, Asia Pacific said: “In times of market volatility and economic uncertainty it is critical that BlackRock communicates effectively with our clients and investors.”
Earlier in March, BlackRock also launched its first major worldwide ad campaign with a special emphasis on Asia, to help investors build a dynamic and a diverse portfolio.
