Local bio-technology innovator Bioinfinity has roped in MEC to manage all digital media communication duties, effective immediately.
MEC will help Bioinfinity market a women’s health device that strengthens the pelvic floor muscle.
The agency was appointed after a month of close consultation and discussion on the optimal digital approach in engaging customers and addressing their needs and concerns.
Ng Shea Kang, market development director of Bioinfinity said the company chose MEC because the niche product has peculiar challenges and MEC demonstrated great depth of understanding of the client’s business and marketing needs, which includes a comprehensive digital marketing solution – search, social and web display as well as social media management.
Matthew Ho, head of interaction of MEC Malaysia said it is a challenging project, given the delicate nature of the product.

Currently, MEC’s digital segment of the business makes up 12% of its total billings and has recorded a solid growth of more than 50% in its billings against the corresponding period last year.
Bioinfinity’s flagship product, the Vibrance Kegel Device or VKD, helps women to locate and strengthen their pelvic floor muscles through exercises.
