MSLGROUP makes regional hire

MSLGROUP, the strategic communications and engagement consultancy of Publicis Groupe, has appointed Benjamin Koe as regional director of strategic insight and impact, based in Singapore. Koe’s appointment will enable the agency to enhance its capabilities in data and analytics, allowing its teams to provide clients with “greater insight to drive creative ideas and business impact.”

In his newly created role, Koe will also be responsible for establishing two Asia centers of excellence (CoEs), one in China and another in India, for insight creation in multiple languages in Asia to closely support client service. Prior to his current appointment, Koe was the CEO and co-founder of social media monitoring and analysis company JamiQ. In addition, he also brings more than 10 years of experience in social media listening, analytics, and strategic planning to the table.

Glenn Osaki, Asia president, MSLGROUP, said: “Our industry has been changing at light speed. With larger mandates and marketing budgets given to communications and engagement consultancies, there is increasing demand for the ability to translate data into actionable insights that have the potential to significantly influence perception and drive behavioral change.”

“Benjamin’s appointment further enhances our capabilities in delivering insight-based and channel-neutral programs specifically designed to drive business impact. It sends a clear message that at MSLGROUP we are serious about making a real difference for our clients’ business.”

Benjamin Koe said: “MSLGROUP stands out in Asia by working seamlessly across all channels and gearing all efforts towards delivering results. With enhanced capabilities in analytics, insight, and measurement for impact, I am convinced that MSLGROUP will increasingly lead the region as the preferred partner to the world’s most valued businesses and brands. I am proud to join MSLGROUP and to play a part in driving the industry.”
