BBH Singapore has appointed Mara Vidal (pictured) as its creative director. In her new role, Vidal will be focusing on IKEA, where she is tasked to build on the creative work the agency has already been delivering for the brand.
In a statement to Marketing, the agency’s spokesperson said that Vidal reports to Joakim Borgstrom, ECD, BBH Singapore. She will work on IKEA predominantly in Singapore and Southeast Asia, the spokesperson added.
Prior to her appointment, Vidal was creative director for The Corner in London. She started her career in Fallon London, and has since worked with many creative and digital agencies such as Digitas and Google among others. Her creative works and accounts also include Cadbury’s Gorilla campaign, Microsoft’s critically acclaimed Brandon Generator, as well as brands such as Tesco, H&M, and KFC, just to name a few.
“We are thrilled to have Vidal as part of the team – no doubt her ideas will spread much inspiration around to the office, the client, and all around Singapore through the campaigns she works on,” Joakim Borgstrom, ECD, BBH Singapore said.
“BBH Singapore has that big, brave can do mentality where you feel anything could happen. I’m very excited to be part of the team here, and can’t wait to go all in,” Vidal added.
