BBH China announces new leadership structure

BBH China has elevated longstanding leadership team Arto Hampartsoumian and Christine Ng to executive chairman and CEO respectively, while Arthur Tsang joins BBH China as chief creative officer and Tim Browne joins as head of planning.The press release stated that 2018 will be the 12th year for Hampartsoumian and Ng as both the founders and the key management team at BBH China.Tsang has been in the business for more than 15 years, and has worked with clients such as Dove, Wrigley, Mars, Mercedes Benz, Coca Cola, Mengniu and Unilever. He was previously the CCO of BBDO Beijing and ECD of BBDO South China and BBDO Guangzhou. Before that, he was a recording artist in Hong Kong."It's a huge legacy and fantastic brand that needs to be lived up to and that is a wonderful but daunting opportunity," Tsang said. "But after meeting such energetic, talented and like-minded individuals, I'm confident this is the right place to further my creative vision and to keep pushing the boundaries of Chinese creativity."Browne was most recently head of planning at McCann Healthcare London, after working with global agencies JWT London and EURO RSCG Worldwide, where he worked brands including Dulux, Nestle Rowntree, BMW and Reckitt Benckiser.Browne commented: “I've always wanted to work for BBH, from the moment I joined the industry, so the decision to join BBH China was a very easy one. BBH China has a great management team and such strong talent. I'm really looking forward to working with them and producing some fantastic campaigns”.“These leadership changes provide us with the right balance of continuity and freshness as we set about this next phase of business evolution in China. In Arto, Christine, Arthur and Tim, we are now well set up to achieve our ambition for growth and creative excellence across a broader range of capabilities in this very exciting market,” Neil Munn, Group CEO on the BBH China said.
