BBDO Hong Kong wins AIDS Concern creative pitch

BBDO Hong Kong has won the AIDS Concern business following a 4-agency pitch.It will be responsible for delivering a 2-year campaign to achieve “Triple zero” – Zero new infections, Zero stigma, and Zero AIDS deaths – through increased HIV-AIDS testing in Hong Kong. AIDS Concern is the first non-government charity organisation established in Hong Kong to address HIV-AIDS care.Derek Chung, program officer at AIDS Concern, said: “BBDO Hong Kong’s talent is so culturally diverse and just felt right for our creative brief. We are excited to see how this unique project will provoke discussion in the community.”JC Catibog, managing director of BBDO South China and Greater China chairperson for Omnicom’s OPEN Pride LGBT initiative, said: "We have the highest admiration for the work AIDS Concern does as an organisation, and are humbled by the opportunity to accelerate understanding, acceptance and most importantly – action, in promoting HIV-AIDS testing and sexual health in Hong Kong.”
