Automobile company SGMW Indonesia (Wuling Motors) has appointed Bounche Indonesia to handle digital duties, mainly digital marketing strategy and operation. This follows a closed door pitch held during the third quarter of 2019 and the appointment is for 15 months.
Wuling Motors Indonesia’s senior brand manager Dian Asmahani and digital marketing manager Yusuf Anshori said Bounche’s team put forth innovative solutions to address its current situation to achieve both its branding and business objectives.
“Their team has shown a series of good track records as well in their previous experiences in handling end-to-end process from marketing until CRM business processes. And all are wrapped up in a creatively presentation on the roadmap plans to us during the pitch,” they added. The company also recently announced its export of the new Chevrolet Captiva to Thailand, Brunei Darussalam and Fiji.
Meanwhile, Olvin Tan, COO and co-founder of Bounche, said Wuling’s products are very innovative and it is answering on what the market is demanding right now in Indonesia, which is to upgrade cars with a competitive price and good quality.

Separately in May this year, Singapore’s Changi Airport Group (CAG) reappointed Bounche as its social media agency following a pitch. The agency currently handles strategic planning and creative services for CAG’s social media in Indonesia market.
