Since it quietly begin operations in the Malaysia market last year, Audi has since appointed its agency partnerships.
After it appointed Publicis for creatives and MediaCom for media buying, the luxury automobile brand has most recently appointed Zeno for PR as well.
According to an Audi spokesperson, managing director of Audi Malaysia, Immo Buschmann has already outlined goals to be the top premium automotive manufacturer in Malaysia.
The Audi TT was launched earlier this month, with a online and print advertisements with the “Daredevil” campaign also launched in early May. The car was then unveiled with a press and gala launch event on 8 May 2015.
Aside from the ads, it engaged four influencers to tell their own #nolimits stories, namely Alex Yoong (former F1 driver, current Audi R8 LMS Cup racer and Audi ambassador), Isadora Chai (renowned local chef and personality), Sam Coleman (Chief Editor for Esquire Malaysia and Singapore) and Timothy Tiah (Founder of Nuffnang). Their own stories were shared on the Audi #nolimits microsite.
“They were also given Audi cars befitting their individual personalities to drive and personally experience, which in turn they shared about on their own personal social media platforms,” said the spokesperson, adding that more marketing activities were due to roll out shortly.
