Astro and Twitter tie-up for World Cup highlights

Astro has partnered with Twitter to offer exclusive "near-live" football match clips and tournament via the @stadiumastro Twitter handle, in the lead up to the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia.Fans will receive goal alerts from the match of the day, replays of the best goal of the day from all angles, as well as a roundup of the day's action that captures key moments. Astro hopes to spark lively and engaging conversations among Malaysians on their favourite World Cup moments with our ‘near-live’ clips."This new collaboration with Astro is the latest in a string of partnerships between the broadcaster and Twitter, which already includes the English Premier League and Formula One, just to name a few.Earlier this year, Astro appointed Merdeka LHS to manage creative duties for the upcoming World Cup, following a pitch held in January this year.
