Triple, the exclusive distributor for renowned US performance sports label Under Armour in Southeast Asia, will be working with One Championship (One) as an official partner in Southeast Asia (SEA) for One’s events in 2016, significantly expanding its reach in the region via on-site branding and various platforms with high audience engagement.
The strategic partnership leverages the two leading companies’ respective strengths and is expected to elevate the presence of both brands in a few of their shared target markets in SEA – namely Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia. The first event in Singapore where the partnership will take effect on Friday, 6 May 2016.
The sponsorship follows the brand’s commitment to empowering people into athleticism. The values and strict discipline involved in mixed martial arts training, personified by the fighters’ excellence in the sport further exemplify the tagline in Under Armour’s Rule Yourself campaign: “It’s what you do in the dark that puts you in the light.”
