Advertising technology company AppNexus launched the AppNexus Publisher Suite, a one-stop ad solution that powers ad serving, planning and forecasting, direct campaign management, and diverse marketplace sales.
With early adoption of the full suite by Schibsted Media Group, an online classifieds and media company, the AppNexus Publisher Suite enters the market as the only independent and publisher-aligned alternative to DoubleClick for Publishers by Google.
With the introduction of the AppNexus Publisher Suite, global publishers now have access to demand via an open exchange: monetisation across real-time bidding, deals, automated guaranteed, header bidding, and mediation; complete cross-channel visibility through Yieldex, a forecasting and analytics tool; and AppNexus’ buy-side capabilities for audience extension with a 100% cookie match, margin controls, and reporting.
“Publishers finally have the option to work with a powerful monetisation engine that brings ad serving, forecasting and open dynamic allocation under one roof,” Brian O’Kelley, CEO of AppNexus, said. “Until now, publishers either had to work with Google, which runs its own media business and biases its own demand pipeline, or patch together a variety of disparate solutions, which is costly and inefficient. There is a better alternative to DFP – one that is fully aligned with its customers’ interests.”
“Our full-stack solution empowers publishers to build monetisation capabilities that will be critical for them to survive and thrive in the years ahead,” said Ryan Christensen, SVP and general manager of AppNexus’ Publisher Technology Group, said. “Publishers who traditionally felt compelled to use DFP now have a powerful alternative.”
O’Kelley added, “Our mission at AppNexus is to build a better Internet. That means helping publishers monetize the compelling journalism, music, film and information that they offer consumers free of charge. We believe in a world where more people have access to quality digital content. Our publisher suite helps make that world a reality.”
