APCO Worldwide names managing director

APCO Worldwide nominated Amy Wendholt (pictured) – who has been with the company for more than five years – as managing director of the firm’s Hong Kong office.Previously based in Beijing and served as the lead of the office’s government relations practice, Wendholt handled communications strategies in advising corporations, governments, nonprofit organisations and trade associations.She has also led the region’s health care practice, working with pharmaceutical, medical device and medical services clients across Asia Pacific.“Amy has remarkable talent in developing client service teams and creating innovative stakeholder engagement strategies, and we are delighted to bring her experience and leadership capabilities to Hong Kong," said APCO’s Greater China region chairman Kenneth Jarrett."Her strong business management skills paired with her substantial experience with APCO in mainland China makes her an ideal person to lead and expand our business in this important regional hub.”
