For the fourth year straight, Ogilvy & Mather Group Hong Kong claimed the Overall Agency of the Year title last night in front of a 650 strong crowd at Marketing's gala 2013 Agency of the Year Awards.Ogilvy sealed the deal after snapping up two Gold cubes, Brand Consultancy of the Year and Social Media Agency of the Year as well as Silver in Digital Agency of the Year.The awards, held at the JW Marriott Hotel, Hong Kong, were packed with agency, media and marketing professionals there to celebrate the finalist agencies across 12 categories. Among them was a very vocal Weber Shandwick, which took out Public Relations Agency of the Year for the second year straight.It was also a strong year for Oracle Added Value, which bagged Gold for Market Research Agency of the Year - after settling for the runner-up trophy in 2011 and 2012.Local upstart SodaCard was hailed by Marketing's editorial staff as The Next Big Thing; the most outstanding industry newcomer, and joined last year's winners TCOB Media, who proved their 2012 success to be anything but fluke by snapping up the Best Use of OOH.The Agency of the Year Awards 2013 were sponsored by The Wall Street Journal, WeChat, Next Mobile, Apple Daily, RoadShow, Metro Broadcast, and supported by partners Chivas 18, Golden Gate Wine, Peroni Nastro Azzurro, ACTIVE Network, Forever Young Group, Freeflow Productions.Marketing Magazine's Agency of the Year program is the only marketer voted awards in Hong Kong recognising excellence in agency performance.[gallery ids="16739,16735,16741,16734,16733,16736,16738"]
