Regional – Aegis Media Asia Pacific has appointed Arvind Sethumadhavan in the newly created position of chief innovation officer, with immediate effect.
Sethumadhavan was previously Social and ROI analytics practice leader for Isobar APAC.
He will now be responsible for identifying scalable initiatives, products and services to drive future competitive advantage for Aegis Media.
The key focus areas for him will be on platforms and technology, incubating new business opportunities with existing key clients, industry thought leadership and being a support for all Aegis Media brands around the region. He will also continue providing support for Social@Isobar as regional practice leader.
He will remain based in the regional Singapore office and will report to Nick Waters, CEO Aegis Media Asia Pacific . He has been with the group for 18 months and has a background in social media marketing, marketing analytics and measurement.
Sethumadhavan (pictured) said that “clients are increasingly looking for a step-change in embracing new solutions to redefine their traditional business models and not just incremental benefits”.
Waters said: “This role will help our agencies provide the right new solutions to our clients as they reinvent the way they build their brands.”
