Adobe names Alvaro Del Pozo as APAC VP of marketing

Adobe has appointed Alvaro Del Pozo (pictured) to the role of vice president, marketing, APAC, reporting to Ann Lewnes, CMO, Adobe. He replaces Marta DeBellis, who will be returning to the United States to head the enterprise campaign and partner marketing worldwide.In his new role, Del Pozo is tasked to lead the company's marketing strategy, as well as work alongside Paul Robson, president, Adobe APAC, to drive business growth in the region. Previously based in Sydney, Del Pozo served on the board and took on the role of COO at OneAffiniti Australia prior joining Adobe. His other stints also include Dell, where he was responsible for brand and demand across consumer, small businesses, enterprise and the public sector as vice president of APAC and Japan marketing.Meanwhile, DeBellis took on the role in 2015, stepping into the position recently vacated by Hisamichi Kinomoto, who has resumed a full-time focus on the company’s important market in Japan. In her time with Adobe, she led global campaign planning for Adobe’s Digital Marketing business as well as driven co-marketing strategies worldwide with Adobe’s Digital Marketing partners. Prior to joining Adobe, she was vice president, group account director at MRM/McCann in Salt Lake City managing the Intel and Microsoft accounts for the agency.“The era of experience is forcing businesses to transform and marketing is at the heart of this change and opportunity.
