Abbott launches regional media pitch

Global pharmaceuticals and health care products company Abbott has launched a media pitch for the Southeast Asia markets.Marketing understands that a total of eight markets are currently undergoing the pitching process including Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, India and Vietnam. Abbott has declined to comment further on the details of the pitch.Meanwhile, in 2013, the company appointed MEC in Singapore to handle its media buying and planning for two years. According to Adex, the account was then understood to be approximately SG$6 million. Prior to that, Havas Media held the account for four years.
