DBS SME Banking has appointed Possible Singapore to launch the 99% SME campaign. The campaign aimed at generating a national movement to support SMEs in Singapore, developing creative assets and pushing responsiveness through all social communication channels via performance media.
As part of the campaign, Possible Singapore also specifically developed a social campaign with locally renowned influencers. Moreover, it also encouraged consumers to show their support during the campaign period. With the help of food blogs and instagram, the campaign showcased home grown stories, videos and images on innovative aspect of the SMEs.
The campaign is an initiative by DBS SME Banking, Singtel and Mediacorp to help the growth of local SMEs. Small to medium enterprises support approximately 70% of Singapore’s workforce via employment. It hoped to drive awareness of SMEs for growth in local spend, and supported Singapore’s government emphasis on building local capability, as they play a crucial role in shaping the future of the country’s economy.
