Y&R appoints new CEO Philippines

Y&R Southeast Asia has named Anna Testa as the new chief executive officer of Y&R Philippines. She starts her role from June onwards and reports to Sanjay Bhasin, CEO Y&R Southeast Asia.Testa joins from Leo Burnett Singapore where she was global brand agency director SK-II. She replaces Mary Buenaventura and will be based out of the Manila office.Testa has over 20 years of experience in advertising and marketing communications and has spend more than 11 years at Leo Burnett, mostly on global brand leadership for P&G business. Testa has worked in Singapore, London, and Tokyo, and has worked on Whisper / Always and SK-II.Her earlier assignments in Manila were in the fields of advertising and in business process consulting. Her advertising experience includes heading up McDonald’s Philippines, and Nestle Philippines.Testa said: “The breadth of services of Y&R Philippines is impressive, from branding to shopper to activation to digital. And they even have a Cannes Lion under their belt. I’m very excited to be working with them and am certain there will only be many more wins ahead.”
