YouTube restores BK model video

Over the weekend, YouTube had removed the video of the Burger King model titled "Burger King digitally raped my face".In the video, the model accused the fast food giant of using her image without her consent five years ago in a provocative ad.A YouTube spokesperson has responded to Marketing’s queries stating that the video was deleted by accident and has since been restored."We review content flagged by our users quickly, and if we find that a video does violate the Community Guidelines, we remove it. We also have a team that is dedicated to identifying and removing spam.  Occasionally, a video flagged by users or identified by our spam team is mistakenly taken down. When this is brought to our attention, we review the content and take appropriate action, including restoring videos or channels that had been removed."Yesterday, a Burger King spokesperson also responded to Marketing’s queries.“Our investigation shows that the rights to use the image were purchased from the legal owner of those rights. We were not made aware until recently that the model claims not to have known about this use. We have since spoken with the model’s family and assured them that we have no intent to use this image again.”The spokesperson added that the ad was produced by a Singapore-based agency and not by Burger King Corp.’s advertising agency of record at the time.  She added that the advertisement ran for a very short time in 2009 to support a limited promotion in Singapore and did not run in any other market. Here's the video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7pnGJHGn-M
