Yahoo's APAC head of business marketing exits

Vaasu S Gavarasana (pictured), head of business marketing in APAC has left Yahoo. Gavarasana took on the role late last year. He was responsible for B2B marketing including thought leadership marketing and industry outreach programs aimed at strengthening Yahoo’s position within the marketing and advertising community.In his role, he reported to Nitin Mathur, senior director, marketing, Yahoo Asia Pacific. His replacement at Yahoo has yet to be named, a Yahoo spokesperson told Marketing.Prior to the role, he was former APAC head of digital marketing solutions group of Yahoo. Gavarasana has been with Yahoo since 2011.Prior to that he was based in Delhi and held the role of EVP and head of the Delhi Office in Bates 141. He has also held various senior level roles at McCann and Y&R.
