Yahoo! and HomeGuru ink content deal

Yahoo! Inc. has signed on local real estate website HomeGuru as its Malaysian content partner.The partnership allows the two publishers to deliver property content to Malaysia's 18 million internet users, as figures from the International Data Corporation (IDC) show.It also lets Yahoo! monetise allocated ad inventories on HomeGuru's network, driving additional traffic to both sites as well as increase brand awareness for HomeGuru.Country editor of Yahoo! Malaysia S Vicknesan said the collaboration would bring HomeGuru's content and and Yahoo!'s regional audience and targeting capabilities to deliver the best experience for its online audience."The partnership also strengthens Yahoo!'s commitment to bring locally relevant editorial content to our users as well as complements news offering on Yahoo! News and Yahoo! Finance - the two leading sites in Malaysia, with expert articles in the real-estate field," Vicknesan said.Two weeks ago Yahoo! also signed on with the owners of HomeGuru, Singapore based PropertyGuru to deliver property-related content to its site.
