Wunderman hires head of planning

Wunderman Australia announces the appointment of Dom Hickey as head of planning. Reporting directly to Andrew Davie, managing director, Wunderman Australia and New Zealand, Hickey will be based in Sydney and oversee the strategic planning team in Sydney, Melbourne and New Zealand.Hickey will champion the company’s priorities of further building and fortifying Wunderman’s data and insights division, customer lifecycle management and digital strategy capabilities in Australia. The Wunderman group in Australia also includes Bienalto, a specialist in brand experience, analytics and optimization.A seasoned CRM and loyalty native, Hickey brings with her more than a decade of experience on both the agency and client side. She has worked across major household brands such as Westpac, IKEA, Medibank, Paypal and Austar, and joins Wunderman after stints at Lavender and Publicis MoJo. She has integrated experience across all media and messaging channels, with a focus on direct, digital and social.Commenting on the appointment, Davie said, “I’m excited to have someone of Dom’s calibre join the team.
