Workforce Singapore has appointed Dentsu Mobius as its media agency to provide media strategy, consultancy, planning and buying services. According to Gebiz, the account is worth SG$17,102.
This follows a public tender which was launched in July which saw other agencies such as OMD Singapore, The Media Shop and Vizeum Singapore vying for the account.
The appointed agency will handle all duties pertaining to print media, broadcast media, out-of-home, online for publishers, ad networks and programmatic buys. It will also be responsible for EDM, mobile and executions involving non-conventional new media and direct mail advertising.
In July, Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) partnered with National Trades Union Congress (NTUC), U Creative and e2i to unveil a suite of initiatives to help freelancers secure more job opportunities in creative industries.
It also saw its latest national initiative SkillsFuture being hijacked early this year by doppelganger sites riding on the government-led campaign. This led to WDA releasing a statement on its Facebook page warning the public of the fake websites.
