The WFA has appointed Jamshed Wadia, head of digital for the Asia Pacific region at Intel, as the first APAC chair of its DIGITALFORUM.
Wadia will work alongside EMEA chair Jonny Freeman from BP to help marketers from around the world share experiences and learning on how online experiences can fulfill their potential in enhancing fully integrated marketing communications strategies and executions.
Wadia has more than 18 years’ experience in marketing and sales with a focus on digital marketing, social media and eCommerce. He is currently head of digital marketing and media at Intel Asia Pacific and Japan, responsible for all strategy and execution across digital content, paid media, digital platforms and real-time analytics for Intel.
“I’m thrilled to be the first chair of the WFA’s DIGITALFORUM for the APAC region. We operate in a complex and fast-moving landscape and by sharing expertise, learning and experiences members will be able to accelerate their company’s digital transformation,” said Wadia.
The WFA also recently appointed Andrew Knott, vice president, media and digital for McDonald’s APMEA, as the new chairman of its integrated marketing communications (IMC) Forum in Asia Pacific.
