After several weeks in “soft launch” mode and having passed muster in real world testing, Marketing is proud and excited to officially launch our brand new marketing-interactive site.Asia’s leading site for marketing, media, communications, agency and digital media coverage has been rebuilt from the ground up by Digital Arts Network (DAN) using a 'mobile first' approach with our end-users, readers and clients at the heart of the redesign strategy."When we were asked to redesign the Marketing Interactive website our main goal was to ensure that the site was optimised for mobile while retaining consistency across all devices,” said Oz Dean, DAN’s creative director.“By implementing a fully responsive site we’ve ensured that all users have a similar experience,” he added.A responsive website doesn’t necessarily mean a cut down site on smaller devices but a fully functioning site across the screen size spectrum, this includes the ability to easily search, comment and share on smart phones, tablets, laptops, desktops and sizes in between. The new site also reflects the current trend in socialised news and content, with key features such as  social sharing and commenting.Content on marketing-interactive.com is now fully tagged and optimised for proper categorisation serving not only related and suggested news content, but also event content and even job listings. As well as the redesign of the main site itself, DAN has revamped marketing-interactive.com’s daily newsletter providing a highly legible, clean and engaging experience on mobile. We appreciate that reading our previous Marketing Daily newsletter on mobile was a frustrating experience for our readers and this was where we started when re-imagining our digital offering. The new site is built on the Wordpress backend which results in a contemporary and clean user experience, and is a true representation of the evolution of news media sites into a blog-like framework. This allows the journalists on marketing-interactive.com to present a more fluid and timely news experience for readers. The clean interface and large images, along with simple video integration and galleries mean we are now able to tell stories in a more visual way, in line with current media consumption habits. This also means the content teams across our four key markets, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and the Philippines can bring to life online and on mobile,  the full range of content Marketing produces,  including daily news, in-depth features originating in print and a growing stable of live events. The marketing-interactive.com team are currently in the middle of a major migration process to move all content onto the new platform and fully populate the new site.
