Watsons encourages consumers to move their body to the zumba beat

Watsons Malaysia has organised its annual zumba gathering titled "Watsons Move Your Body Zumba". This was in collaborating with Zumba Fitness, the governing body for zumba worldwide. The event, which saw 6,823 participants, is in line with its #GETACTIVE campaign which aims to further promote healthy living and positions Watsons as the ideal health and beauty shopping destination.Official sponsors for the event include Sunway Lagoon, Celebrity Fitness, Ultron Sport and Grab. Participating brands include Yoko Yoko, Bausch & Lomb, Cetaphil and Salonpas. Last year's event saw 5,360 participants while the year before had more than 7,000 participants. A+M has reached out to Watsons Malaysia for comment.According to Caryn Loh, GM and country head of Watsons Malaysia, Watsons wants to offer Malaysians a more holistic approach to a healthy lifestyle aside from offering a variety of health and wellness products in its stores.“For the fourth year running, Watsons Move Your Body is becoming an iconic event and as such we want to provide our customers the reward of money can’t buy experience with international renowned Zumba instructors and a line-up exciting carnival-like activities to entertain,” Loh added.
