” I would like to thank Ogilvy & Mather and American Express for getting me into this business […] I love advertising because I love lying,” said the star of hit TV show Seinfeld, Jerry Seinfeld at Wednesday’s 55th Clio Awards in New York.

With his trademark brand of dry humour, Seinfeld took a jab at advertising’s tendency to make everything the way you wish it was was and goes on to say: “I don’t care that it won’t actually be like that when I get the product being advertised.” Because in between seeing the ad and owning the product, he is happy.
