Waggener pulls in Calendrier to sustain growth

After recording 46% year-on-year growth, PR group Waggener Edstrom Worldwide is looking to maintain this momentum with new growth from the corporate sector.The agency has hired Antoine Calendrier (pictured) as client services director to oversee its corporate communications and issues management teams in Hong Kong and across the region.In the past year Waggener's consumer practice has grown by 50%, adding Samsonite, Maxim's Group and Kowloon Watch Company to its roster.But Winnie Lai vice president of Waggener Edstrom Greater China, said its next goal was to build the corporate practice."Antoine's wealth of experience across diverse sectors will be the cornerstone of this growth," Lai said.Calendrier, previously head of corporate communications with Hennessy in Paris, has experience with international brands including McDonald's, Disneyland, Danone, and Sodexo Group.
