Waggener appoints deputy GM

Waggener Edstrom Hong Kong appointed Diana Pong (pictured), the former director of technology at Edelman Hong Kong, to take on a new role as deputy general manager.Pong replaces former deputy general manager Angel Yip, who left the agency four months ago after seven years since joining in 2008.On her second day at Waggener Edstrom yesterday, Pong told Marketing she would be focusing more on staff management on top of managing Waggener’s technology team.“Clients are looking for integrated services across multiple touch-points and seek for sharing content to engage consumers. I believe my expertise in technology can bring Waggener and our technology offerings to the next level,” she said.Pong has more than 17 years in the public relations industry working across LEWIS PR, Text 100 Hong Kong, PR People Consultancy and Edelman. She reports to Emma Richards, general manager of Waggener Edstrom Hong Kong.
