Vocanic Expands, XM Creates UX Lab

Vocanic adds three to the team In a bid to meet growing regional demands of clients, Vocanic has hired Ivan Ng, Josie Khng and Kimberly Olsen (all pictured) to its Singapore team. Ng, previously senior art director at XM Asia Pacific, will take on the role of regional head of creative; Khng from Tribal DDB comes on board as community management lead and Olsen joins as marketing and business development manager.The agency has also reported new account wins in the past six months, including F&N and CapitaMalls in Singapore, F&N, Astro Arena and Fitness First in Kuala Lumpur, and Microsoft, Luxury NZ and SehatAQUA in Indonesia.XM targets the consumer experienceXM Asia Pacific has rolled out its Consumer Experience Lab, boosting its consumer research and human behavioral studies to better engage and influence consumer decisions. The lab utilises eye-tracking technology, traditional research and heuristic techniques to pinpoint how Asian consumers view and use information on websites, digital ads and traditional media. With this investment, XM will be supporting projects in the region, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, Thailand and Hong Kong.Mercury PR snags new accountsMercury Marketing & Communications has recently bagged two new accounts, including Malaysia low-cost carrier Air Asia and Naumi Liora, a boutique hotel by Naumi Hotel in Singapore. For Air Asia, the six-month contract will see Mercury providing public and media relations counsel to help boost the airline's brand profile in Singapore. For Naumi Liora, the PR agency will be in charge of the hotel's opening PR campaign and will further engage Mercury on a project basis.Monster Singapore goes 3DOnline career portal Monster Singapore has rolled out a media campaign with Yahoo Mobile's Poly Ad, an interactive 3D advertising platform. The campaign, a first for the new ad platform, targets job seekers using mobile devises to allow users to interact with the ad through clicks or swipes. It integrates social media functionality to better connect with job seekers at various levels. Media agency for the campaign was OMD Singapore.
