Universal Networks International makes key appointments

Universal Networks International (UNI) has made three key appointments to the Asia Pacific region.Shannon Most, appointed marketing director for Australia & New Zealand begins today in Sydney. He will be responsible for leading marketing efforts across all UNI’s channel brands in both Australia and New Zealand. Previously, Most held positions in TV1, SF and Disney.Selena Crowley, appointed programming director for Australia & New Zealand will commence her role in Sydney later this month. She will be responsible for leading content acquisitions and promoting localization across the channel brands. Her background in programming is reflected in roles at TV1, SF, SBS TV, The Comedy Channel, Screen Producers Association of Australia (SPAA) and the Australia Film Commission.Hannah Deeth, appointed marketing director for South East Asia will begin in Singapore on the 16th of October. She will be responsible for driving marketing campaigns across the channel brands. She was most recently based in London at BSkyB and has held positions at the Sydney Opera House and the BBC.All three directors will report to Christine Fellowes, managing director of the APAC region.Fellowes says “Universal Networks International is at an exciting point in its growth within the Asia Pacific region and the appointments of Hannah, Shannon and Selena are integral to our continued success. Each brings a wealth of experience, regional knowledge and expertise that will complement our existing teams, helping to build upon current strategies and drive new ones.”UNI will continue to focus on the growth of its key channel brands in South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand including Universal Channel, Syfy, E! Entertainment Television, DIVA Universal, 13th Street, Style and Golf Channel.
